Yes, i've had mine since I was 17. Be aware, you get no ncb, this has stung me with getting a modern daily.

Not sure on age for the following, may be 21 or 25 but you could try

Peter Best
Lancaster Insurance
Adrian Flux

I use PB and have always found them good for me

Carol Nash, highly reccomended and you get AA cover. Avoid, Adrian Flux, they are a complete shower. You can also try something off the wall, depending where you live, N.F.U.

Although Footman James are actually a broker, are you sure you actually got a transferable 1 years no claims? I was with them for 4 years and was awarded 'claims free years of driving' which I could only use with their classic policies and other insurance companies that accepted it. It was not 'no claims bonus', and they would not make it so or write notification of it for switching companies. When it came to normal insurance and insure a modern, I had to suck it up and start from 0.

I've heard lots of good things about Chris Knott Insurance.

+ one for Carole Nash.
Competitive price and very helpful.
Don't know about their age policy, but well worth a call.

Just made a change to my Mini policy. Sorted out in minutes and email confirmation within the hour.

Did you get sorted out with classic insurance in the end?

I'm in a similar situation now myself and looking around for a few companies offering classic at 21.

+1 for Carole Nash. Have been with LV for years and have 75% ncb that I don't need to transfer to another car. Just got classic policy for £167 with all mods declared by switching.

Was £290 renewal with LV.

I'm with LV for my Merc. no one could touch them on price, never thought to try them with the Mini.
Carol Nash just seem to be my number 1 choice for classic cars. keep well clear of Adrian Flux.

Thanks for the advice!

Just insured my new mini via Carol Nash as recommended. £113 fully comp with full UK and Euro breakdown cover, now I class that a bargain :)

Was done via Markers Study MS Classic...not sure how good or bad they are.
