What is this thick cable for?

It looks like it might have something to do with the starter, but I can't see how it would connect? Is it even for a Mini?

That looks like a charging lead for a electric forklift or something like that.

It's a heavy cable with Anderson plugs on the ends, not standard to your (or any) car but would be used for jumping if suitable sockets have been added. The plugs and sockets are identical.

Right, so not anything to do with a Mini then. I was just wondering as it cam with a shell I bought.
