I have a 1989 mini thirty and am getting a 'rubbing' sound when the car gets t appx 30 mph. It feels like the rubbint is happening from directly from the bulkhead. Can anyone assist?

Hi. Are the engine mounts and / or top and bottom engine mounts loose, see if the engine rocks back and forward by hand.
Start here and work around the bay,You don;t say what carb you have, standard set up, could be filter box, HIF set up, Bottom of carb rubbing.

Thanks for the reply - went to garage - found that it was the nearside hub assembly needed to be replaced.
All sorted now.
