Hi guys. I'd like to install a cd player in my 92 cooper. It's a blaupunkt rover badged one with ref xqe100380. It was fitted in the late mpi's and also in the mg range(25-45).
The radio came with no bracket or cage. Can someone tell me how this radio was fitted in the late mpi's? Thank you

hi if its to replace your R660,?

the mpi cd player has a rear pin with a rubber grommet , and small allen keys under the front flaps, to clamp the dash. john

Thanks John, I noticed that. Ok so no cage is needed to fix it?

There was no original radio in the car when I bought it.

I thought the radios always went in the dash in the middle on the late MPI's. Could be wrong though.
