Trivial point. When specifying two-tone wires, you say/type the dominant color first. Those are not white/black wires, they are black/white.
You said the black/white wires are taped to green wires. Are they the lighter green wires shown to the right of your hand? Do the other ends of the green wires go to the fuel and temperature gauges? If so, the terminal on the spliced black/white wires goes to the terminal on the voltage stabilizer marked with the letter " I ".
thank you sir! you are spot on! i plugged 5 into 6. and the fuel and temp gauges are now working.
sorry for my newbie mistake, I will remember black/white wires.
this is what i've gathered so far, please help correct if i got them wrong. the wires look dirty.
1 - light Green and pink - emergency flasher
2 - light Green and yellow - left flasher
3 - Main battery feed
4 - Speedometer light housing
5 - Fuel and temp gauge spliced together
6 - voltage stabilizer
7 - voltage stabilizer
8 - voltage stabilizer
9 - Speedometer Light plug
Vacuum
1 - Breather pipe
2 - screen washer hose connect
3 - screen washer hose connect
The weird thing is, both my left and right signal flashers work. But they only work if my emergency hazard switch is turned on. the emergency flasher doesn't work. So makes me wonder those cut wires maybe hacked and connected to the emergency flasher's power some how.
