Hi all
I have just replaced my head on my 998 to a 12g295, twin 1.25 su,s and a complete exhaust, the car does run and tickover but is spitting fuel out, once I higher the revs it's fine, also feels sluggish when driving, could this be down to wrong needles, I'm not sure what size are in at the moment, any help appreciated
Cheers jim

They're out of balance, you need to balance them first.

If you just bought these carbs, did you replace the jets with new? i never trust unkown jets

Hi
Unfortunately not, I might now wish I had, I stripped and cleaned them first, replaced gaskets and floats, I've just set the mixture to two and a half turns on each carb, to balance is it to set the air volume even on each carb and adjust each mixture seperate
Many thanks jim
