Looking to replace my clutch plate as getting a little low & would like some feed back on what to replace it with.

Currently running a uprated road unit (Non Verto) on a ultralight flywheel with an orange diaphragm. Engine kids out about 105bhp & is mainly used for hill climbing.

Are the paddle type any good?, Having never used that type, or best just to stick with the uprated solid item.

Any information on type & supplier please

How is the current plate performing (other than its a little worn?) if its working fine, i'd be tempted to stick with the same type

Slight slip marks, but I've put this down to heavy start line getaways.

I have the same setup as you for hill climbing and use an ap paddle plate. Works well and they aren't as jumpy as some people tell you. Never had any slip. Wouldn't be very good on the road though.

C-AHT593 is a really excellent plate for competition.

Thanks for all your input. Would like to go for C-AHT595, but unfortunately it's out of stock. looking to possibly go for the AP turbo plate providing it's 180mm & not 190mm.

Which is the 593 Cooperman?
C-AHT596 would be my next choice, just a bit pricier.

My mistake, I looked up my detailed spec and it's a 596 I have. I just came off that page and typed 593. Put it down to old age ;D .

But, yes, the 180 mm C-AHT596 is a top quality performance plate.
