Hi all,I am looking to put flared/bubble arches on my mini. Has anyone got any ideas on how to go about doing this as cheap as possible? I don't want fibreglass or plastic so it looks like I'm going down the metal arch route. Can anybody help me please?

Honestly fiberglass is your friend, there is a wide selection of good looking arch extensions available in glass, and it's easy to works with.

I think hron13 is talking about cosic ally archs which aren't very common, horsman conversion reproduce them now.
you could weld on the golf ones and would look pretty good and different, I don't think 13"'s would look right with them though.

I think it'd depend on the dish of the wheel and how low the car is, I would say 12"s but it's quite hard to imagine it ![]()

It depends how good at bodywork you are, because they run 13" wheels doesnt mean it will fit the contours of the mini, and I suspect a lot of filler would be required to make them look 'normal'
Personally there is nothing wrong with GRP, but I haven't blended mine in due to the issue of cracking, provided they have some rubber trim where it meets the body then they wont look unfinished

That could work, I would say maybe just repair the rust then run standard off the shelf mini bits.
