Coming home tonight I lost drive to the right hand wheel, the car will creep forward but with an awful noise from the right wheel. its a 94 spi cooper.

Sounds like driveshaft, probably failed inner pot joint at least that is the best case scenario but could be diff drive.

CV (outer)
Driveshaft splines on hub flange
Something in the gearbox?
