hi all just been out this morning to purchase a morris mini mk1 1967 with 5 previous owners its in ok condition will need a lot of work but i am in no rush to do it will just put it up the corner and do bits here and there on it. my plan is not to go expensive the finished result will be a solid rat look mk1 i am going to leave the original paint as it is and where the new panels go i will just get a close enough red paint to match not going over the top just rat look mk1 finish let me no what you think. thanks tom

Looks like a really nice project, got a few panels to replace, but nice to see another 60's mini being saved :)

Although I think rat look minis look ******* stupid, I love the idea of making it solid and keeping it still looking old and original. Do the bare minimum to it. Sweeeet

hi all its about time i think i got this thing done. i was going to sell it but deep down i want to keep it. so i am going to make a start on this as soon as i can find cheap enuff panels. panels that are needed is full floor a panels rear section in boot floor bottom section back panel and some other panels that might pop up when rebuilding it. not going over the top like i mentioned before aslong as its solid and passes an mot scratches dents original color are stopping. ripped seats anything i can get my hands on for cheap will be used. i will make a start this week by stripping it down. cheers tom
