Hello everyone,

Ive wanted to do an engine conversion for a while now but havnt a clue what engines are good to put into a mini (rear or front mounted). id like to make a mini into a sleeper so the faster the better. any suggestions?

It also comes down to how much money you want to spend.

Some conversions that fit under a standard length front and bonnet are:

Turbo A series

Supercharged A series

B16/B18 honda engine (have to change the subframe)

Red top Vauxhall engine (subframe change)

Twin cam A series

This is to name just only a few but they all differ in cost.
