i have just bought a desmo roof rack for my mini and am going to respray it.

my mini is silver with a black roof and black wheels, i dont know if i should spray it black or silver... any suggestions?

thats an idea, the roof rack is in good shape structurally but looks a bit ruff as the original finish is starting to wear away. i also do not want to strip it down to paint as it is quite old and i am afraid of the plastic fixings falling apart as i would have no idea where to get new ones.

i had one on and old vw it was quite hard to polish ! took ages but it did look good i sprayed the metal connecting parts black
