1994 Spi No Power To Fule Pump

So after breaking down yesterday we have descovered theres no power to the fule pump
Car will run for a bit if we put 12v to the pump direct from the battery to get fule down the engine

Any advise , all fuses seem ok to quote grandad but ill doubble check :L

Also which fuse specificaly if the fule pump fuse? Like wire colour and location

  How did it break down?  Have you tried resetting the inertia switch under the bonnet?  Round rubber thing by the wiper motor, press the top.  If it clicks it was switched off.

Just cut out in 3rd on a rounderbout, no coughs or anything, thats the first thing i did by the side of the road, but no click, button was solid

Button was solid? it should click when pressed IIRC. Our car did exactly the same ( admitedly after hittina pothole ) and cut out. The switch did sound like it clicked and then the car was fine.

  Just means it hadn't tripped.

 

  The fuse should have brown/green wiring.  The common fault here would be the big relay pack which unfortunately usually needs to be replaced.  Time to start circuit testing.

Should it be on the proper fuse pannal or the inline ones ? And where is the big relay pack

  It's an inline fuse if you don't have the 24 way blade fuse box..

The fuel pump fuse is one of the inline fuses behind the air filter box, think it's the white wire one, but not in garage to check wiring diagram. ( I notice it has been suggested it may be green/brown wiring as said not in garage so can't check)
