Hi
I have finally found the problem where i hit potholes and the hole interior is shaking ! Its the heater and maybe the matrix.
Is there any way that i can sound proof it or something ? Just to stop vibrating, it also moves if pushed hard by hand,i will try to remove it and install it correcly and see if anything is loose...
But if theres another solution please help me :)

Regards Panayiotis

There is a bit of foam that often breaks down. Not sure if that would cause what you are experiencing but would be worth dropping out the matrix and seeing the condition of it.

I stripped my heater when the matrix began to leak. Replaced all the foam and sealed the case with sika flex to hold in as much "warm" air as possible. As a by-product, it stopped rattling too!! I replaced as many self tappers as I could see as most were badly rusted.

What foam do people use? It looks like the old sponge insulation of doors. Is that it or is there an upgrade?

Something like this: http://www.ebay.co.u...ff14=108&ff19=0

You should be able to find it in a hardware shop in Cyprus I imagine.
