[Clubman GT]

Just found out that my clubby original colour is black tulip. Is this a good/rare colour to have on a GT?

Also to cut a long story short, when it was outside my parents house it had all the interior and wheels stolen..... As a result I want to go to original interior if I can find it.... With the black tulip exterior I believe it's geranium or ochre interior?!? They both look hideous on the original mini brochure.

Does anyone have photos of these interiors? Or a standard interior of a 1972 clubby GT to help me on my quest of finding original seats etc.

Original GT interior trim is hard to find these days and blooming expensive unless you are very lucky.

Yeah that's what I'm worried about. I think I might make some subtle changes but nothing drastic. I have the original rear bench but that is blue leather...... The front seats i think I will buy something like these.

Sounds like you're doing exactly what I've got in my GT although with a black bench.

I think I will go for the original colour though geranium. Or maybe black with geranium piping?

Geranium is the red isn't it? 

Would make an amazing interior. I'd definitely go for that. Problem is sourcing it! Newton couldn't help me when I was after Navy stuff.

I travelled hundreds of miles to source a full interior in a much more common colour. 

 

I can certainly help if you wanted more pictures, I have a black interior and Navy. 

 

I also just came across this add on ebay, you could ask them if they would do you the kit in ochre or geranium?

I've not seen many in that colour. I'd say its one of the rarer colours :)

I sold a full geranium interior about 2 years ago - really struggled to find a buyer and pretty much gave it away!
