Took a day off today to get her indoors horesbox MOTd, i needed some new wiper blades for the wagon so i went to a local supplier of HGV spares and  bought a new pair.

While waiting for the afore mentioned wiper blades i noticed they were a advertising the fact they sold Millers oils so, i asked the assistant how much would 5 litres of Millers CTV 20/50 oil cost.

He looked on the computer and said....................... £151.00 + VAT  :ohno:

Bugger that i said, only if it includes you guys doing a complete oil change including a new filter and a pick up and drop off service.

Daylight robbery or what.

Given that it was an HGV supplier are you sure he didn't quote you for 5 bottles rather than 5 litres? I can't imagine they are used to supplying a single gallon of anything.

WOW!  I know it's brilliant oil for the mini but that's just a tad expensive!

I wonder if Millers would do a group buy and we could all stock up at a good price?

Some suppliers stick the prices up to a silly price if they don't have stock. It saves them constantly adding and removing items from the inventory. That way no one tries to buy it when they don't have any.
