Who's the best insurance company for a young driver with a heavily modified Mini? I live in a fairly quiet location and will be doing low mileage

Well that's not accurate at all.

There are companies who insure young drivers with modified cars. I made a list of them as I'll need one, but I can't find it..

That hasn't been updated in ages, not a lot of it is standard, rung up adrian flux out of interest and quoted me £3000 a year :)

That's the best quote I can get at the moment.

Not that bad really for a new driver..

Are you getting quotes through comparison websites? I would phone for quotes.

I dont know how it is now but i cannot image it being cheaper but having bucket seats and spot lights at the front and some alloys pretty much trippled my insurance and that was with Adrian flux i think. But back then i could not even imagine paying 3k for an insurance, to mean cheap insurance for a young driver would be below £1k

Adrian Flux always seem very expensive. My first insurance policy was with Footman James, but I don't think they insure driver under the age of 21 now. Give AVIVA a phone call, seemed reasonable for me last year.  :highfive:

Just got an online quote from aviva but could only choose 4 mods which barely scratched the surface and got quoted £3000 :(

Have you tried admiral? They were cheapest for me through compare the market, but then I'm driving a pretty mcuh unmodified mini...
