Afternoon Gents,

It's been quite a while since I have been on TMF but I still have my mini!

Long story short, my turbo project has come to a standstill as the garage who had agreed to do the work has now told me that after 18 months with minimal progress, they don't want to finish what they started due to 'unforseen circumstances' (laziness).

I no longer have the time to finish the car myself but with so much time, effort and money invested, I am definitely not just selling up.

I really need some help in finding a specialist mini garage who would take on the last part of the project in the South East or London.

In essence, the turbo unit needs plumbing in, some intercooler tubing routing and a handful of other ad-hoc jobs and fabrication before it will be road worthy again.

Does anybody have any suggestions of any garages who can maybe help?

The only suggestion I have had so far is Gerald Dale Motorsport.

Any help GREATLY appreciated!

Definitely a consideration, but quite a distance to travel from South East London!

I second Croydon minis, always see an interesting project everytime I went there. Recently moved to newer premises too so will have more space for projects.

Yes, I could do it myself but would I have asked this question in the first place if I wanted to do it myself?

Also, I really don't want to have to wait another 3 years whilst I only manage to get small bits done on it every other weekend to get it finished?

I work for McKinsey as a Management Consultant so long hours and frequent weekends in the office are an understatement, and a lot of my time is also spent on site with clients, frequently abroad.

Thanks for the Croydon Minis suggestions. I might pop down there over the easter weekend, if they're open and see what they say.

I seem to have found a good option very close (less than 10 minutes) to where the car currently is too which is ideal - They're called CCK Classic - http://www.cckhistoric.com

Don't suppose anybody has had experiences or knows of them??
