Roller Rockers

I have a nice spec 998
Flat top pistons, sw5 cam,stage 3 head, stage 1 kit,
Lightened flywheel.
The car is going very well, but what do u guys think of
Roller rockers? I have early pressed steel rockers on the engine now
But would like to know if these rockers are worth it?

Roller rockers give more at the top end 5k rpm+ but you lose off cam driveability

Depends what ratio rockers you're considering. 1.3, 1.5 ?

They won't make it run any better or give any more power or torque.
They will, however, reduce the side loads on the valve stems and thus slightly reduce valve guide wear.
It's a lot to pay for no improvement to performance.

Having had an SW5 munch its way through several sets of guides (and eventually valves) with standard rockers, the fitment of roller tipped rockers has cured the problem.
High lift/short duration cams bring their own set of problems not found in the traditional cam designs like a 266 or 286, and increased side load is one of them.
Yes, you could say it's an expensive way to gain no performance, but longer term is a cheap way of not having to rebuid your head every two years...
