Minis of all shapes, ages and colours rolled into Horsham’s East Street and Market Square today (Saturday April 19).

This was the big focal point of today’s Piazza Italia following yesterday’s Ferraris and super-cars.

East Street was packed as the Minis lined up along the street with many car owners opening up bonnets for passers-by to examine the engnes.

Today has been another big success for the organisers and while the forecast sunshine hasn’t lasted past lunchtime, the various events across town have drawn massive crowds.

There was an appreciative audience this morning for singer Jo Appleby who sang a number of opera classics from the balcony of Prezzo balcony in the Carfax before moving to the bandstand later.

Also in the Carfax was the market with stalls selling a variety of local and Italian produce.

After a rest tomorrow (Sunday), Piazza italia resumes on Easter Monday with another packed programme, including dozens of Italian scooters on display in the Carfax.

Our video of the Minis arriving features the singing of Jo Appleby:-
