For sale here are a couple of exterior parts

Firstly - 4 W&P style arches.

I bought these recently for my Mk2 but have since decided to restore that so it will remain arch less, my Mpi needs the wider versions from mini speed so these are surplus to requirements.

They are used, but they are all complete, present and there are no serious signs of damage. They will need sanding back and painting prior to fitting. They seem to fit quite well to be honest.

£30 shipped

Secondly I have a lightweight, ABS front bumper.

Again I bought this for my mk2 but have since had a change of heart and I doubt I will use it on anything anytime soon and it's been leant against my roll cab for over 6 months now.

Brand new, unused, hasn't been drilled, I haven't even offered it up to the car.

Again £30 shipped

Shortly I will also have a 2 Pc front, brand new £60 and some wide group 5 arches £30 for sale.

Any questions please ask.

How far in mm, is the holes for fitting from the inside edge, as my front arches have been trimmed and turned over but I have minimum metal at the very front edge. Cheers

Hello Olly.

I'm unsure on what measurement you are after regards holes?

Do you mean on the I side of the arches?

If so the previous W&P arches I have fitted I have drilled my own holes, as needed along the underside of the arch and riveted them into the arch lip. You can slide the front of the arches down and behind the bumper to help hold the arches where you need them.

If that isn't the question you was asking, sorry!

Cheers, Tomm

So it would hold without rivets, at the front near bumper.
just realised, I dont think they will fit due to my arch lip tapering off just over the half point of the front wheels.

You could fit w&p arches with no lip on the arch, you would just use a thin section of angle. Rivet one section up behind the wheel arch of your car, then rivet it into the W&P arch.

Depending on what size rivets you use, you could rivet into a pretty minimal amount of material.

I could supply you with 3mm St/St rivets which will be more than enough for attaching these arches to a mini, I would suggest that you would probably want around 8mm to attach them comfortably.

Cheers

Hi, am i right in supposing these arches attach to arch lip, unlike the mini special type arches?. How many fixing required per arch as the photo,s not too clear. Terry.

I'll drop you a PM in a sec.

You are correct, they are mounted via the arch lip as apposed to the special arches that attach into the bodywork.

These arches are "drill your own" fixings, you can have as many or as few as you like. In the past I have clamped the arch down and drilled 4 holes per arch, two in the bottom corners and the other two evenly spaced along the upper section of the arch.

You can use as many, or as few as you like.

Hope that is of some help.
