I got this with a car and had been told that it had been rebuilt approx 15k ago, since I didn't have any proof I've stripped it a bit to get more info.
Having pulled the head its clear that its been rebored not long ago, the pistons and bores are like new. Around the engine there are plenty of new gaskets.
Looking at the head its clearly been refaced recently as well.
Its a bit grubby and will need a clean and repaint. Its an a+ engine
I'll supply a new head gasket, or can refit the head.
£200 as a bare engine or £250 with carb, dizzy and starter.
