360 degrees roll over spit / jig / rotisserie
Its home made, but worked a treat when I was welding my mk1 but now that thats all done I would it to move it onto another mini owner. I used it for the welding work and then the paint shop I go to paint the mk1, used it to spray the underside.
Its designed to fit a mk1, but with some simple mods I'm sure it could be used to fit a later model. mk1 has a hole in the rear seat panel I put the pole through. The jig bolts to the two rear upper damper mounts and the left hand master cylinder holes (or where the heater pipes go). With it only mounting on this side you can still have the pedals box in if you need to reattach the engine steady bracket. I only ever had my shell on this as a bare shell so it did not weigh much.
Based near guildford, you will need either a van or roof racks as the centre pole and lower X is one piece and long.
Will upload pictures 2moro, day light ran out today before I could get a decent picture.
These cost around £170 in kit form for you to weld yourself or £215 ready to go on ebay, although they are a professionally designed item. Mine is home made and not the prettiest but does the job.
