Hi All,

Here's a link to my Dad's original (hardly used!) Benelite Grill - managed to persuade him to get it out of the loft and onto someone who is able to enjoy it as was intended, actually reattached to a Mk1!

Any questions, fire away!

Thanks,

Ben

A very nice and clean original example, I had one a couple of years ago ( not in as good condition as yours ) and i sold it for £ 220.00 so yours should go for abit more hopefully.

Thanks for the kind comments.

Benelite was sadly another victim and wound up in 1974, so they aren't made anymore... I believe the fact my Dad's says "Birmingham 26" also means it's an earlier Grill... (I think later ones read "Birmingham 25").

I've seen a couple of later imitations but most of the seemingly original Benelite ones I have seen at shows had bent bars, missing badges or broken lamp holders. Would be nice if this one ended up on a tidy Mk1 somewhere!
