Is My Oil Cooler Okay Like This

Well yes as long as you are fixing it in place :P air flow through the cooler might not be the best but it would be better than nothing :) can't you mount it somewhere else?

You could drill a large hole/series of holes in the bonnet and put a fine mesh behind it

Nah can't fit it anywhere apart from there and and sit at abit of an angle when not bolted in but when bolts sits facing forward more also guna drill a hole in the bonnet for cooling the top part of cooler

As the cooler is about twice the size required it's probably better that way, though swapping the hoses top to bottom could make it easier to bleed and move to gain servicing access to the clutch etc. An oil thermostat would add refinement too.

Can't fit a thermostat because of the hoses I have

And I can only have the hoses the way they are can't go another way otherwise the top hose is to crimped and I don't want it to restrict oil flow

Also what the standard oil pressure switch colour of wire I'm sure is black and white

A thermostat / temperature controlled valve would be a really good idea, it's important the oil isn't over cooled which is quite likely with a cooler that size in the UK climate

Perhaps you need to ask your mates then?  Looks like too much cooling from here.

I was with one yesterday when fitting it and there is more on show if it bang infront of grill than the way mine is
