Is My Oil Cooler Okay Like This

I spent about half hour trying differant places yesterday
And it wouldn't go anynwere due to the hoses

Also what the standard oil pressure switch colour of wire I'm sure is black and white
It's white with a brown stripe.
White with a black stripe is for the tach.

You may fall foul of MOT with a cooler mounted in front of the grill now I'd imagine because of the projections unless you cover the edges?

Has no-one tried modifying the front panel under the bumper and fitting an oil cooler there, like a Cobra? Would look much neater - have to move the number plate of course.

I don't see my car failing an mot with the cooler were it's is now
It wont as it doesnt have any protruding edges

It won't, sharp edges or projections have to be from damage or corrosion, user modification isn't an MOT failure in this case.

20 odd years in the motor trade, ten of them running an MOT station tells me it isn't...
