Engine Bits Question

got a 1988 mg metro engine and need 

 

transfer casing

 

drop gears

 

verto flywheel clutch assembly 

 

i have posted in the wanted section but are the parts required same as any mini/metro a+ parts 

 

ie 998/ 1275

All the parts you have listed are interchangeable between Minis and Metros.

 

I think the transfer casing and drop gears may be different though (between 998/1275), await confirmation.

I know that the primary gear (the one on the crank) is a bigger size (1.625" as opposed to 1.5") and the flywheel housing for the 998 A+ will need drilling for a breather.
