Basically i have a 1989 mini Mayfair that's ready for mot just hasn't got an engine.
All work was done to get this to mot standard then the engine went, so i got it rebored, added some fancy bits and stuck it in an estate i have!
The shell is solid, as can been in pics an a panel has been replaced, as have doors, and sills both sides. There's a few scabby bits of paint, around lights and a little on the scuttle, this was rubbed back, painted with red oxide and hammerite to stop it worsening before getting repaired properly and that's about it.
There is a bulkhead box fitted for either a turbo or weber set up to be used if wanted.
The arches are of different colours and the fronts will need rubbing down and prepping properly.
The bonnet was a mk3 with the bottom lip removed, rubbed back a bit then left to the elements, not to everyone's taste but would easily rub back and paint up! Mk1 grille and tash also fitted.
The rear wheel arches have been tubbed, not by myself but looks an alright job.
Rear subframe is new and freshly powder coated, hi-lo's all round and recent koni lowered shocks.
Rear brakes were done ready for mot.
Still has a lcb exhaust manifold and large bore stainless mid pipe and side exit rc40 attached.
Car is sat on a brand new set of 12x6 deep dish minilites, these have new falken tyres fitted, they've literally been on the car to roll it around my drive.
Inside has been stripped out, no radiator, top or bottom rails, carpet, rear seats etc. Started to remove sound proofing in the front.
It does have a 6 point roll cage, not sure on make as can't find any marks on it. Also has 2x mamba bucket seats, not new, few small tears and marks but useable, 2x new Luke 3 point harnesses. Momo steering wheel and gear knob!
As said this car was ready for mot, to my knowledge now, all it requires is an engine fitting and some wipers to get it back on the road. With a bit of paint and some tlc this would be a stunning little car or leave as it is and enjoy!
Car is near Chippenham (wiltshire). I appreciate it's probably worth more if i broke it but i haven't the time to do this at the moment.
