I have just added a 100AYP dizzy with Aldon electronic ignition to my 998cc engine, with a stage 3 head and a mild cam.

Can anyone advise what the timing setting are for this unit and how it is set., IE revs, does the vacuum pipe need to be unblocked etc.

Didn't realise the advance curve on the 100AYP was appropriate for a 998, did you check with Aldon ?

I use the equivalent A series version on my 1330...

I think the instructions with the dizzy will give you the timing figures..

Ooooo sh*t, I bought this secondhand!!

If its any help the cars runs!!, do you think this a BAD idea putting this in?, I bought it alongside a 1310 engine that requires rebuilding
