No but I remember the east mids electricity board ones in green with EMEB in red letters. My dad worked for them and could get one for me cheap. At 17 the last thing I wanted was a green van with the outlines of old EMEB stickers on the side. Would love one now.

I just got an old aa badge for the mini grill.
My dad was telling me about the aa riding motorbikes with side cars and that when they were driving towards you and spotted the aa badge on your grill they would salute you.

Up until 2002 there were also AA roadside phone boxes and members were given a key to open the earlier ones which also had maps and a fire extingusher inside.

End of road for AA call boxes

The boxes became "the lighthouses of the road".

AA patrolmen helped members

Smartly dressed patrolmen in caps and leather boots would salute passing AA members, offering assistance with directions or breakdowns, even warning of police speed traps further down the road.

Strange it has the stink bug stance, is it hydro or is it common for vans to sink nose down?
