Most injection/turbo pumps use a 10 amp fuse so the wiring should be made to handle at least that.

Different makes have different amperage, have a look on the instructions, I think mine is something very low like 1 amp yours may be a lot higher.

Looks like a fake facet to be honest...

ANyways, wiring is easy! Do you know how to use a relay?

Fuel%20Pump%20Relay.gif

this is a standard diagram, but FOR THE SAKE OF SAFETY add 2 switches, 1 manual switch and one inertia switch.

Actually... that does not look like a Facet pump.  It is (or appears to be) a copy of the Carter P60504 gear-rotor pump... or a fuel injection pump.

The first "compatible vehicles" on the auction listing include "EFI" (fuel injected cars).  Is this supposed to be for an injected Mini?  If not, be sure to check the delivery pressure from the pump if you are going to connect it to a carbed Mini.  The pressure from a fuel injection pump will be way to high for carbs and you will have to add a regulator to the system.

If you find this is a regular carbed car pump, the links below may be helpful.

Second Link:  Instructions (see page 7)

Fuse rating in step 6.

The gear-rotor pump is pretty nice and compared to most Facets it is quiet.  HOWEVER, put a transparent, large, fuel filter between the tank and pump intake.  These pumps rely on the flowing gasoline to cool them.  If their intake plugs with dirt/debris OR the filter plugs the pump will overheat and fail within minutes.  Use a filter that you can look into to make sure the pump does not run dry.  Check and replace the filter often.

Again, if you bought this for a carbed Mini, check the fuel delivery pressure before you install this.  Anything more than 3 PSI is too much for SUs.
