More parts arrived for 'Project Robin' so mocked up the front mounted radiator over the weekend.

Using a 998cc re-machined and 120degree rotated thermostat housing (in order to give me an acceptable angle for the pipework), and totally bespoke mounting brackets.

Also had a bit of re-shaping to do on the engine steady to get it to fit to the rotated housing.

For info the radiator is of a Fiat Cinquento, you can pick them up of ebay for £18 delivered.

the core is only 20mm in width so fits in nice between the dizzy and the front panel with only minimal modification.

Just waiting on the expansion tank (from a genuine Fiesta 1.3L 2001-08 again £18 delivered) and a few clips and the odd bit of pipe to nip it all up and add the heater into the system.

Also started her with the old loom and she sounds lovely (due to the LCB manifold and full stainless exhaust) and runs like a dream. :D

I would have liked to have her done and dusted by now but have spent most of my time moving into the new workshop and setting up the new business. Its not totally mini but feel free to have a look at the link below. Saves working for a living!
