Hmmm, not the best but certainly a long way from a worst case sinario. A relatively easy fix compared to a big end cap into the gears.

yup they should have loctite on them, plus make sure the correct torque is used to tighten them. there was a thread on hear about it, people were miss reading the manual and using the wrong too low torque.

yup they should have loctite on them, plus make sure the correct torque is used to tighten them. there was a thread on hear about it, people were miss reading the manual and using the wrong too low torque.

Have a replacement one removed from another engine but will check locktite on it and torque it. The thread you linked said 40lbft so I'll go with that.
