Thought I would give a review of the PAGID master brake cylinder thats become available for the later Minis with servos. The main reason being its such an excellent price!

PAGID are huge in the brake market, annually they produce around 30% of all OEM brake pads and disks for new VAG vehicles. They are held in good regard for pads and disks for other makes too. I have used their pads and disks on my Mondeo and they perform easily as good as the OEM parts.

The current cost of an AP master cylinder is around £90 at the moment. With the new 25% eurocarparts discount with TMF+ this master cylinder comes in at a tad over £45! (Details about discount and part below). Usually I would flat out refuse to use cheap brake parts but i personally have had no issue with PAGID brake parts in the past, plus as this master cylinder is made under license its got to match OEM standards (hopefully!).

Overall the quality is excellent and it has fitted to my Mini's brake servo with absolutely no problems at all. The design is slightly different but its made no difference to the fitting. The only thing is that the PAGID cylinder does not include a reservoir but i rescued mine from the original with no issues.

Id certainly recommend this to anyone who is needing a new master cylinder. Especially if you can rescue your existing reservoir! At 50% of the price of an AP master cylinder its certainly worth trying to rescue it.
