I am going to be fitting a pair of twin HS2s and am just wondering if I'm going to need to do any modifications to the bulkhead in order to do so.
Hope someone can help, and thanks in advance.

If you use the correct mini manifold the HS2 carbs will clear the bulkhead.
If you have a Midget or 1100/1300 twin HS2 manifold (and there are quite a lot of these about) the angles are different and they may not clear.

I had to change my manifold off my Austin America. Stupid thing was at a 15 degree angle instead of 30 degree. 30 is what you want. Other than that you shouldn't have any clearance problems.

Do I need a 30 degree float angler then? I'm going to be rebuilding them before fitting (although they're in really good condition) so want to get them right before they go on so I don't have to take them off to rebuilt in a few month time...
Thanks for your replies.

Yeah I would get the proper float angler as well. They aren't expensive and its worth throwing on there. If they are working I don't know that I would do a full rebuild. The are such a pain if they fall out of sync. If they came off a mini though you probably don't need the anglers.

Why twins SU have syndrom of going out of tune is because the carbs that do that are worn out and need rebuilding, when done all the problems of a diffferent idle every time you stop disapper
