Hi all,

On an old forum I used to belong to it had a couple of useful sections:

Can you lend a hand (or words to that effect) Anybody local would pop by to help with a job on the car, normally for a beer or tea and cakes!

Also a Relay section, people could ask for an item they had bought/wanted to buy, relayed by some kind person who might be heading up or down to there area.

Just an idea, I met a few good people who helped out with a few issues on my old land rover...I was also happy to help out when I could.

Cheers

Jay.

For the lend a hand section, it helped lots of people save money, and it also helped those that wanted to learn, as it would have been handy to have an extra pair of hands for some of the jobs I have tackled.

Relay section would be great as I see lots of posts saying they would buy, but the item is too far away..(me included).

Just a thought.

Jay.

I like this, Lots. Always finding stuff on ebay collection only, would be good to start a relay system.

Personally I like your suggestions! Even if I wouldn't benefit from the relay section.

I have nudged the other team members in the direction of this thread. There might be some concerns but we will have a chat!

Deffo a +1 for the lend a hand section. I know I've got a few jobs needing doing that I could do with a wiser pair of hands to guide me through them.

i have tried to get a TMF delivery section up and running before when i was on the staff but met quite a bit of resistance

there was a worry about more things in the for sale section going missing and more possible work for staff members sorting it out

we have had a few new staff members since so worth a try again
