Appears I am on the notified list of Creditors along with "?? ?" Doubt myself or Question Mark will get anything back but the organisers deserve huge thanks in taking 205k from the Mini Community in return for nothing. You should all be very proud.

Yes I'm on there too with 1000 others.  I've already completed a chargeback so strictly speaking, I am no longer a creditor, the credit card company is.

It was simply the amount of money that had been accrued through ticket sales, when it was announced the cancellation was due to a lack of sales I was expecting around 50K not 200K, 200k covers a lot of expenses, and due to the on going good weather at the time you would expect a high take up of late bookings and general foot traffic on the main weekend.

Thank you Shooter63.  I was surprised at the high number of ticket sales, me included!  I know very little about how these events are put on but you'd expect to be in a deficit until the ticket sales reach a certain point and from then on, happy days.  The wonderful weather we had could have only swelled the numbers.  All very odd and sad.

Pretty sad all round really, I'm not going to dig but it does all smell a bit.
