Hi;

I would like to order some Rear Subframe Support Brackets (The ones that have the Subframe Mount captive nuts and weld to the inner sill).

I have been advised that they are supplied by M-Machine and have found them in their online catalogue however cannot seem to be able to order them.

I found the old web site panels directory here it does not display very obviously why its the old one. The new web site here says its still under construction and will be completed 2012!!!

I tried emailing them using their online parts order form but have had no reply, does M-Machine still trade? If so where's the active web site?

The parts I am after are

11.32.02.27 Bracket, Rear Sub Frame Mounting with captive nuts, LH

11.32.02.28 Bracket, Rear Sub Frame Mounting with captive nuts, RH

Thanks

After posting I did a bit more Googling and found their other main metal supplies web site here this still points to the other site that I had already tried but I have sent an email to [email protected].

I gave up after sending a few emails and getting zero response. It seems they only deal over the phone :(

Quite a few folks have had issues with emails but phoning them for me has always been the best way and the most helpful.

+1 seems mad in the modern world but that's the way they are. Never had a problem phoning them.

mmmmmm that makes me mad. If they have no intention of answering emails then why have a "contact us" page?

http://www.m-machine...uk/contact.html this page is as much use as a chocolate teapot!!!!!

I rang them about a grille panel around a month ago to see if it was in stock the price I gave them from their online site was out of date around £10 cheaper than it should of been but they still sold it to me at the cheaper price and I got it with in two days .
Top marks from me
I paid by pay pal so they are not to old fashioned

I ordered a complete inner/outer sill assembly for a Mk.1 on Wednesday by phone and it arrived yesterday.

Fantastic service, top quality part and nice people to deal with. Price was good too.

In fact, if the sills need doing, buying this sub-assembly makes fitting it really easy and it comes complete with built-in jacking point and carpet studs. So much easier than fitting new inner & outer and jacking point then welding it all up yourself and having to linish back.

The only fly in the ointment with these assemblies though is the lack of paint / E coat between the joints. Still good items though.
