My Cooper wasn't in bad nick when I put him away, but it's now at least four years on and time has taken its toll on the engine and paintwork.
Basic plans are to get him back on the road, but the "plans for the year" thread got me thinking:
On 1990 Mainstream Cooper JCG S
Essential:
Free clutch
Remove megajolt and fit original electronic dizzy + coil.
Recommission engine
Replace scratched front windscreen.
Replace evil wipers
Sort out drivers side door lock mechanism.
Remove harnesses and instal new inertia seatbelts
Pass Mot
Would be nice:
Source JCG S spec twin carbs to replace missing ones
Install central locking.
Fit 'accessory' socket.
Paintwork restoration / respray.
Find and fit classic roof rack.
Add Fogs and Driving lights.
Add DNS throttle pedal.
