Hey all,

I've just got a little F reg 998 mini to run around in whilst I put a new enigne and do some bits on my other beast.

It has a slight 'crunch' when trying to change up or down into second gear, the other gears seem fine and if I 'gently' massage the gearstick into second then it seems ok as well.

My first thoughts were that the clutch needs bleeding?

Any ideas?

Mine does the same. If you've only got it for a short-term runaround then I would live with it. If you change gears slowly and gently it usually does the trick

Double de clutching solves it mostly - bit of a pain but it becomes second nature in no time.
