How were the light bowls meant to be attached to the wings? I have seen rivets, nuts and bolts and even tiger seal!

If anyone can shed some light on this. Thanks!

mine were held in by large self tapping screws

Suppose it depends on year..

However layer on they were attached by pop rivets..

I find the best type are the easy pull split rivets..

Mine are bolted however it's a bit of a pain trying to get to the nuts above the bowl inside the wheel arch!

I'm fairly sure they were held on with self tappers from the factory, useless method that only promotes rusting.

My favourite way is rivnuts, this means the paint doesn't get damaged by the self tappers biting into the metal, and they're easy to fit and remove whenever you want.
