Hi I'm Reg, I have a '91 City that I've had since 2000, I'm just finishing a 4 year restoration... took a little longer than first imagined, It started off as a pair of rusty wings and scuttle and then progressed to inner wings, part of the bulkhead, floor, boot floor, rear valance, parts of the rear quarter (both sides), door skin, carbon fiber roof... the more i kept picking the more holes I found.....

Anyway, I've been in the "mini scene" for a long time now, just never joined the forum. But I'm here now!

Sadly i was trying to get ready for L2B but I'm not going to make it... my engine is in many many pieces. Hopefully I'll be out for some of the later summer shows. I'll still be down in Brighton on Sunday (In an Alfa Romeo) to pick up odds and ends I'm missing. So I'll get to look at all your Shiny motors and feel extreme envy!

If anyone needs a L2B Ticket let me know, I'd rather someone got some use from it!

Cheers

Reg

Hello Reg and welcome!!

I can fully relate with you on the restoration, originally I had only intended to put a front end, outer sills, front sub frame and wheels on my car, instead we've ended up replacing pretty much every rusty panel in the car hehe.

Ahh that's a shame about L2B though, maybe next year  :-)

Hi Devo yeah next year it will be finished properly, not just rushed to be roadworthy.... Yeah mines ended up being fully stripped, the only part That's not been out is the front sub-frame (Due to the anti-rust protection that a leaky A series gives)

Hi Silve, not many parts now.. a few little bits like a window winder, front bumper, maybe some new Wipac lights and a fire extinguisher to mount on the roll cage... Anything I discover I need when I look at the engine on Saturday, ... and of course anything that's cool and shiny!
