To get us all in the L2B mood, I thought we'd try and establish who the biggest L2B veteran is, by way of who has the most L2B window stickers. Photographic evidence required please or we simply won't believe that you have every single one dating back to 1986!

I'll start then, with my not particularly impressive collection of four (you'll have to excuse the 10 year gap, as my mini was "in hiding" during those years)

I saw one at Croydon Minis yesterday that was plastered in them!

 

When mine was resprayed the windows got put back in minus the stickers. Gutted.

I was on the first London to Brighton run in 1986 with only about 200 other Mini's but can't remember if there even was a sticker available back then? I remember it started at Battersea Park, London and finished at Preston Park in Brighton where we parked up under the trees for the concours and there were no traders or crowds of people like today.

This will be my eighth. But i can't be bothered to go and take a photo.

This year will be my third (the previous owner had also been twice, so I'll get to 5!)

Hmmmmm excuses, excuses, claims of having lost them in a respray and not being bothered to take a photo.... Yeah right!!!

.....oh & your Dad's mates car doesn't count either, I therefore hereby declare myself the winner!! Hooorah!! (Does a small victory dance)

Do I win? Got 13, not sure if you can see the windows ones clear enough so backing it up with my plaques! Looking forward to another seaside trip this weekend.

2035? That's nothing! Going on my current rate of two stickers per decade, I'll only have managed eight of them by then!
