Hi,

This is my latest purchase. It has 35 and 29 mm valves and is 11 stud. All the numbers and markings point to Cooper S. Could someone confirm that? I was wondering if the little scores you can see in one of the pictures will affect the seal, They don't seem to be too deep. It has already had a 10 thou skim (some time ago). It seems to be flat and level. Any advice and comments on it would be appreciated.

Thanks

J

It's the 12G1805 11 stud type fitted to the mk3 S and also 1300GT about '69 to '73. Looks to be in reasonable and unmolested condition.

The scoring does not look too deep in the pictures, you should be OK. If you're worried a very light skim would do the trick
