Hi,
We seem to have a locking problem that's well documented on various forums, however, none of the numerous posts provide a definite means to diagnose the problem.
The locks lock with the key fob but only the boot and fuel flap will unlock with the fob. Noise from each door suggests something is happening tho.
Consensus seems to be actuator in drivers door but why then would passenger door not unlock?
I've seen other suggestions of a faulty body control module too.
Is there a way to pinpoint the actual problem without buying new parts to try....would a diagnostic plug in at the dealer be able to do that?

The BCM is situated in the footwell, these cars leak so it is very common for water to enter it and play havoc with various electrical items.
I would check if the carpet in and around the footwell is wet at all.
If you were local you would be welcome to plug it into my laptop with OBD software, to see if anything shows up. I would have thought a faulty BCM would throw up a code.
