I went a couple of years ago, it's not bad. If you're not far away it's worth going, when I went it was more VW than Mini but that's not always a bad thing :-)

Hopefully going this year, tagging along with my boss (although he'll be in a Beetle).

I've been to this for the last few years and it's a small friendly show, with a handfull of trade/auto jumble stands. If you turn up in a mini or a V-Dub, then you don't have to park in the public car park with everyone else, you actually get to be part of the show! Plus it's always interesting to have a look at what the V-dubbers are up to with their beetles and campers etc. The last two years it's been merged with the festival of transport, so has been all sorts of cars, plus classic bikes and hot rods too, but I believe it's back to just minis and VW's again this year though.

Sadly I won't be attending this year, it's usually in mid June, but they've brought the date forward this year so I won't be able to make it.

Hiya - just found this thread - there is another one of these this Sunday (AVV IT - if you're still interested in going?). I'm going to go along in Princess - first show I've ever taken a car to so looking forward to 'seeing' it from the other side as it were

I'm hoping to go this weekend if I can find time Saturday to do a few jobs on mine.

So there is!! (A festival of transport I mean, the Mini-VW show was last month!) Yeah I might just do that, depending on what I'm up to at the weekend.

i went to the mini and vw show last month... it was brilliant!! ... i went with a bunch of mates who took cars ranging from other minis, mk1 golfs, and a bora on air. few of us even won an award in the show and shine section  ... and my car went slightly viral on instagram which was nice haha

definitely worth going to next year, very friendly people, and a very good turnout considering the dull weather
