Hateful theft of someone's lovely motor car! And from worryingly close to me!

Although I suppose if I broadcast that the car is fitted with oversills, this forum will suddenly lose all sympathy with the legal owner! :(

Article posted on bookface says:

A rare mini worth £25,000 has been stolen from the screenwriter of Ali G, Borat and Bruno.

I'm devastated for the owner, hope he gets his mini back soon as that's one beautiful car, really makes my blood boil how some people can do such cruel senseless things, so inconsiderate and heartless. Its a shame when you think about it, the owner could have put many weeks, months and years into his mini, yet that thief has put nothing but a few pathetic moments of his life stealing someone else's pride enjoy. I'm sick and fed up with these mini thief's, and the fact most of them are getting away with it drives me mad

Anyhow lets hope they get caught and the owner gets his mini back in one piece

BBC1's Crimewatch Roadshow are making an appeal for this Mini on Wednesday morning's show using our white Mk3 S.   There have been a couple of confirmed sighting of it so hopefully it might turn up.  I think the programme is broadcast from 9.15am.

It's on at about 14:20, but you only have 20 hours left to watch it - http://www.bbc.co.uk...es-6-episode-18
