Hi 

 

Finally got my hands on my own mini after searching for a while

 

Its a mini jet black which has had a bit of bodywork done to it, pretty much no rot only bubbles on left front wing. Have to switch the engine as she came with two none working one still fitted so i will become a regular name around here haha.

 

having trouble getting the front left hub on so shes still sat in garage with seller wait till bank holidays over and get her home.

 

any heres the only pic i got. I need a name!

Going to try and get her to her original condition, all original interior is there aswell was just thinking of modernising the jet black vinyl. Looks like a proper 80s design if that makes sense

I am new to mini ownership - in fact my first mini comes on Monday but i am all for keeping things original - I posted on here earlier so apologies if you have seen this already but I have just found and bought a mint condition 1988 Mini advantage - all completely original and I intend to keep her that way. Oh and she is called Freda.

Just got back from where we bought her from. The wheels are finally on! getting picked up HOPEFULLY on Saturday. Can't wait now

Congrats on your purchase   Which vinyl do you mean? The seats should be black velour fabric with red trim and red seatbelts.

 I mean the jet black writing in red towards the back of the car. got original seating and belts in with it :)

SOoooooo getting it off the truck the bloke doesn't attach the hoist and mini has not brakes equals smashed up back piece great.
