I have just finished fully restoring a 1967 austin mini, which I believe to be a deluxe. It has the original engine and interior. It has had replacement hydro elastic suspension and panels replaced where needed. It has been fully stripped and rebuilt to a high end finish. I am now going to sell it, but am having problems finding out what it is worth.
I would also like to know it is definitely a deluxe
Any help would be greatly received

Looks tidy, depending on the detail and just how good that finish is I'd reckon on 5-8k.

Looks a like a quick blast with the hydro pump might be needed looks a bit low?

Your advertisement and knowledge of the car will help you get a better price if it is written well. People would rather buy a car if they know it has been looked after and taken care of.

E.g. Calling the suspension " hydro elastic" would put me off slightly as the proper name is "hydrolastic". Not sure if you had an auto correct on that or not?

You also need good quality pictures where the car isn't boxed in and covered in drops of water, it's a common way to make your car "look" better for selling, and can be misleading. If you have photos of your high end restoration to show prospective buyers that can be a bonus too.

SDL should have 3 clocks, overriders, opening rear windows, black vynyl lower dash rail, chrome steering column bracket, chrome lever door handles instead of pull cords, chrome windscreen surround probably lots more I've forgotten. This one has pull cords and painted lower dash rail, so who knows, a lot can happen in 47 years

It was a few quick pics just to give you an idea what it looks like. When it comes to sell it it will be a lot more in depth. Has some history with it, including notebooks with his fuel and prices in. Pretty certain it's just a deluxe looking at Vin. Seems hard to price as I can't Fi d any that have sold recently the only one I found sold at auction for £9000 2 years ago and prices seem to of gone up sharply from then

The deluxe model was discontinued in 1962, both the deluxe and super models were replaced by the super deluxe after that date, so only this or the base model were available

Your chassis number prefix should be A-A2S7-S- in which case as mentioned above it is a Super de Luxe.

You might have to wait a long time to get £9k for it.

Just because one mini of a similar spec sells for £9k doesn't mean yours is worth the same. Auctions prices shouldn't be used as a guide as the price is heavily dependant upon who is bidding. I.e. 2 people driving the price up above the recognised true value of the item.

That said though yours does look nice. I would say £4k is a ball park figure but that's my opinion
