I've been without my Air Box To Throttle Body vac pipe (red one) on my Spi for awhile but I haven't noticed the car running strange at all, infact I think the induction kits recommend you tape it up if not used. Am back using the standard air box now so what should the effect of it not being attached be?

Cheers,

If its connected but not blocked off you'll have a vacuum leak! Best to replace all the vacuum pipes with silicone vacuum hose as the elbows always split and leak!
